After topping the charts with “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar just released a music video for his Drake-dissing No. 1 single. The Nobel Prize-winning rapper continues to take shots at his Canadian counterpart, filling the video with visual put-downs of Drizzy. Drake’s record label OVO famously has an owl as their logo, and there are multiple references to the birds of prey throughout the “Not Like Us” clip. Kendrick viciously strikes an owl piñata in time with each “wop” during the track’s “wop wop wop wop wop” breakdown, all while the video displays a hilarious caption that reads, “DISCLAIMER NO OVHOES WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO.” At the end of the video, Kendrick is staring intently at a real owl before he puts it in a cage, with Drake being epitomized as a caged bird as the Dave Free-directed clip comes to a close.
